CALLING ROMEO.
what a sexy book. and i'm only halfway through. ohgawd this book should be rated M18. and i personally wouldn't mind being the main character. okay, so she's deeply in love with her long-term boyfriend, who stood her up on Valentine's day. AND THEN she gets caught in the pouring rain. AND THEN gets splattered in mud when a jerk driving his Aston Martin speeds through the road. so happens, that the jerk, is a business rival? okay so mr. long-term-boyfriend, is slightly better than average looking, but was caught up in work so much, that he hardly even saw ms. protagonist even though they live together. and if i were ms. protagonist, i wouldn't mind cheating on him either. i mean mr. jerk-of-the-day, is english-italian, bloody rich, bloody good-looking, wears designer clothes. takes ms. protagonist out for dates even though he knows she's got a boyfriend. and takes her all the way to VERONA for...risotto?! OKAY HOLY SHIT I JUST GOOGLED VERONA. OHMYBLOODYHELL SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME THERE. ASDFGHJKL. okay i'm back. yes i'm sane. i so don't bloody mind being ms. protagonist. cheating on boring-old-getting-old-and-fat boyfriend, for sexy-rich-handsome-romantic-single stranger, even if he was my business rival. okay you know what, if i even get a boyfriend by the time i'm able to afford paying my own bills, he'd better fly me to Paris, Verona, Rome, wherever else that's so bloody romantic. but please, not NYC. it may be famous for fashion, but i'd give up fashion anytime for romance. plus, i hate buildings, i mean, lots. i don't mine the suburbs, and i adore the country-side. okay back to the book. i think publishers should rate their books. as in, PG, NC16, M18 etc. cos, i honestly thought this was another teen chick-flick, until i read its contents...describing some 'sexy shit'. okay bad idea, seeing a chick-flick with any rating other than PG would be a sure-buy for me. what a naughty kid i am :/ okay i'm off to find out how ms. protagonist is enjoying her stay in Verona. Ciao ;D |
