how i wish there are 4 seasons right where we are now.

i'd love to stay in the woods, sit by a window, watch as the sun sets so much later, night seems so much shorter, then watch the leaves fall, dry enough to produce crunching sounds when you step on them. then sit by the fire, watch the snow fall, and watch plants grow again.

and suddenly thinking, love is like the seasons. or should i say, short-lived love. it starts with winter, the days are short, the nights are long. you spend most of your time doing...nothing.

then, spring comes. love starts blossoming. everything is colourful and pretty. nothing better.

after that comes summer. the days are longer. choose either to either spend it with smiles all the way, or just pray that the day would end faster.

followed by autumn. when the leaves started drying up and falling. everything's just so old. tiring to see the same thing everyday, might as well get rid of it.

and winter comes again. where you do nothing...again.

but here we are, in singapore, where the seasons don't change. i guess that just means, it's up to us, how we want to spend our days. whether we wanna love someone, hate someone, hurt someone, or get hurt. unless you just wanna be the emo loner, doing nothing at all. no feelings. everything's black. how boring. but if that made you have less problems, i wanna be the emo loner please.
