i just visited my mom at the hospital after her foot surgery. the anesthesia was still working, so every single time my mom would fall asleep suddenly. like right after she says smth. let me type down a few hilarious things my mom said.

"bring me my laptop......"
"tell them about the sherlock holmes joke"
"i chose sirloin steak but they told me it was the wrong menu"
"is my face oily?"
"is my lipstick still on?"
"8.30...turn on tv"
"give me a nicer shoe"

okay yeah, this might not sound very funny. but imagine a lady, hardly able to speak, lying in bed, hardly even moving with her eyes closed. saying these things while so weak, it was the cutest thing ever <3 get well soon mama
